I was honored to be featured on a recent podcast episode with the Arizona Technology Council‘s AZ TechCast! Along with Renee Yeager and Spencer Lee, I talked about ethical use of AI tools for online marketing. We gave some practical guidance as to where the future of AI and the future of marketing may be going, as well. You can check it out now!
I was also asked to speak on February 21st at the Insight in Innovation event from ASU’s Changemaker organization. I got to talk with Douglas Sandy about entrepreneurship and innovation, answering all sorts of interesting student questions like, “Is it better to innovate first or to be a fast follow?” (I voted for fast follow, as the innovator has to deal with all sorts of novel problems and sometimes backtrack, whereas fast follows don’t have as much backtracking that they have to do most of the time. Although I would not sit on a good idea until someone else worked it up first; I’d just know that being an innovator is hard and that fast follows get some bonuses that innovators don’t.)
