It’s always lovely to receive an award that you had no idea was on its way. I am deeply honored to note that this month I received the (ASU) President’s Medal for Social Embeddedness. (In my university mailbox! Out of nowhere!) The award cited my significant contributions to Project Cities, which won the medal as an organization. I wrote about the major project I did with Project Cities at Programmatic Perspectives in “Civic Social Media: A Detailed Case for Classroom Use.” I look forward to working with Project Cities again in the future!
